Purpose Of The JobWe are seeking a highly skilled ITOM, CMDB Engineer with expertise in ServiceNow to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) processes. This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure accurate asset discovery, software asset management (SAM), hardware asset management (HAM), and strategic portfolio management (SPM).Main Tasks And ResponsibilitiesAsset Discovery: Implement and manage asset discovery processes to ensure accurate and up-to-date information in the CMDB.Software Asset Management (SAM): Oversee the management and optimization of software assets, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements and reducing software costs.Hardware Asset Management (HAM): Manage hardware assets throughout their lifecycle, from procurement to disposal, ensuring efficient utilization and cost-effectiveness.Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM): Collaborate with stakeholders to align IT projects and initiatives with business objectives, ensuring effective resource allocation and project prioritization.Education, Skills And Experience MUST HAVE:Proven experience with ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB modules.Strong understanding of asset discovery, SAM, HAM, and SPM processes.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Would Be a PlusServiceNow certification(s) in ITOM or CMDB.Experience in a similar role within a large organization.Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
