Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) in SoftServe

Together with the client, we developed a private cloud that is used by millions of users all over the world.IF YOU AREAn experienced DevOps Engineer with at least 5 years of working backgroundProficient in building applications and services using Ruby and PythonSkilled in using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically TerraformStrong in building solutions and services in AWSConfident in Git and LinuxKnowledgeable about computer networking protocolsExperienced with system and application debugging and performance optimizationFamiliar with system configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or SaltStackKnowledgeable in some of the technologies such as Memcache, NGINX, HAproxy, MongoDB, Cassandra, RabbitMQ, MySQL, or ElasticSearchProficient in English at an upper-intermediate levelPracticed in common compile, build, and packaging tools like gcc, make, rpm-build (as an advantage)Familiar with secure coding practices (would be a plus)Having leadership experience or a desire to lead (nice-to-have skills)AND YOU WANT TODeploy across a cloud infrastructure, including Amazon AWS EC2Participate in design and code reviewsImplement product features and fix existing bugs logged in the bug databaseDevelop and maintain internal tools for automated functional, integration, and performance testingSupport Tier 3 Technical Support by debugging and fixing production issuesBe a part of the future staffing of new team membersTOGETHER WE WILLGrow as a team of professionals in innovative technologiesSolve real problems for real users and push our product forward for the betterment of everyoneGain certifications from leading providers (Google, AWS and others)Care about your initiatives – we are open to them, just come and share your ideas SoftServe is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
