About the role:

We seek a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, supporting, and automating our development and production environments, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our systems.

Project description:

Big pharma companies spend hundreds of millions USD for compliance checks — to be sure that their drugs are marketed and advertised in the right way — without discriminating people, raising any problematic questions, or abusing some moral standards. And that they comply with regulations and standards. In order to achieve this, companies prepare tons of documentation and have to analyze existing standards which frequently change. Revisto, with the help of AI and ML, wants to automate a big part of this compliance and marketing materials check.

Responsibilities:

  • CI/CD and Infrastructure Automation: Lead the design and implementation of robust CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and other DevOps best practices to accelerate software delivery;
  • Kubernetes Management: Configure and manage Kubernetes clusters to ensure optimal performance and scalability across cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, and Azure;
  • Performance Monitoring: I will oversee the monitoring of application and
    infrastructure performance metrics, logs, and events. I will proactively identify and address issues;
  • Troubleshooting Expertise: Apply your troubleshooting skills to resolve issues and bottlenecks in CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure, ensuring system reliability;
  • Mentorship: Provide valuable DevOps guidance and mentorship to software engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement;
  • Technical Standards: Define and refine technical standards for provisioning, deployment, and monitoring, keeping them updated with evolving best practices;
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and customer reliability teams to align DevOps efforts with overall business goals.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 4+ years of experience as a DevOps or MLOps Engineer;
  • CI/CD Expertise: Proven experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, TravisCI, and Gitlab CI, demonstrating a commitment to automating the software delivery process;
  • Infrastructure as Code: Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation, enabling efficient infrastructure management;
  • Scripting Skills: Proficiency in shell scripting and Python, ensuring automation and customization of DevOps processes;
  • Cloud Proficiency: Strong familiarity with AWS and the ability to leverage their services to optimize infrastructure;
  • Monitoring Expertise: Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog, New Relic, and Prometheus, ensuring comprehensive oversight of system performance;
  • Performance Optimization: The capability to troubleshoot and optimize system and application performance to meet stringent reliability standards;
  • Communication and Automation: Our team has excellent communication skills and a passion for automation, which enables seamless collaboration and eliminates manual tasks;
  • Experience with a high loaded systems — high traffic / users loads;
  • Experience with a multi level security setup;
  • Experience with Azure — will be a huge plus.
