Our team is growing, and we are currently looking for a Senior Designer / Head of Designers who will become the leader of the design direction and take responsibility for quality, style and team.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for not just a designer, but a person who:
- has a strong design background
- feels style, composition, trends
- knows how to organize and lead people
- is not afraid of responsibility, decisions and communications
- ready to be a "support" for the design team
Main duties
1. Management of the design team
- monitoring the work of designers (quality, deadlines, compliance with technical specifications)
- distribution of tasks between designers
- helping designers in complex projects
- adaptation and training of new designers
2. Quality and style control
- final review of designs before printing
- responsibility for unified brand style
- constant improvement of product designs
- initiation of updates, redesigns, improvements
3. Working with clients (in difficult situations)
- resolving conflict situations related to design
- making decisions regarding edits, revisions, reprints
- responsibility for ensuring that the client is satisfied with the result
4. Communication and leadership
- holding weekly Zoom meetings with designers
- preparation for meetings (plans, feedback, team support)
- creating a positive, supportive atmosphere in the team
- motivating designers and developing their strengths
Requirements for candidate
- experience as a designer from 2-3 years
- portfolio with real works
- understanding of print design (or readiness to learn quickly)
- experience in managing people or a strong desire to grow in this role
- responsibility, systematic, attention to details
- good communication skills
- confidence in acceptance solutions
- willingness to take responsibility for the team result
- love for aesthetics, minimalism, stylish solutions
- experience working with deadlines and multitasking
