OSCHADBANK invites to the team Senior Data Engineer (Financial data)< /strong>

Key tasks:

• design and implementation of scalable data pipelines for processing financial information using Python;
• design and support of a hybrid data infrastructure covering local systems and AWS environment;
• implementation and support of data integration solutions using tools such as Airbyte;
• ensuring data quality, reliability and systems performance;
• collaboration with data scientists and analysts to optimize data delivery;
• establishing best practices for data processing and documentation processes.

< strong>This position requires:

• higher education (Computer Science, Engineering or related field);
• 4+ years of experience in data engineering;
• li>
• 2+ years of experience working with AWS;
• experience in creating and maintaining DVC systems; 
• experience in managing and mentoring small teams (2-4 people).

Technical requirements:

1.     Python stack:

• in-depth Python programming (5+ years);
• experience with Python data processing libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Polars);< /li>
• professional knowledge of creating data pipelines using Apache Airflow;
• experience with Python testing frameworks (pytest etc.);
• knowledge of Python performance optimization.

2.    AWS expertise:experience working with AWS services to solve data engineering problems.

3.    Data integration and local systems:

• experience with data integration tools (Airbyte, Fivetran or similar);
• knowledge of local database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL );
• experience in designing and implementing data lakes.
