Senior Cyber Security Engineer in Nova Digital

As we expand our team, we are currently looking for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer.

Skills and Qualifications:

• At least bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, cyber security, or a related field;
• At least 3 years of experience in cyber security;
• Strong hands-on experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)/ Incident Management & Automation systems (developing, implementing and managing);
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in implementing security compliance standards (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2);
• Strong technical knowledge of networking and security protocols;
• Practical experience with EDR, Antivirus, Web Security Proxy, WAF, DLP, PAM, Vulnerability Scanners, MDM;
• Hands-on experience with GCP or AWS hardening;
• In-depth understanding and knowledge of securing and hardening windows, Unix/Linux operating systems;
• Strong programming and scripting skills;
• Excellent verbal and written English skills.
   

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and improvement of security systems (SIEM, WAF, EDR/Antivirus, MDM etc.);
• Handling of security events and incidents reported by individuals or systems (SIEM, EDR, WAF etc.);
• Validating cloud architecture design from a security perspective;
• Prepare the company for ISO 27001:2022 and GDPR compliance;
• Development and maintenance of incident response triage guides and playbooks;
• Develop scripts, tools and methodologies to improve security monitoring systems;
• Provide consulting services to developers and engineers to help them build more secure information systems.
