Senior Concept Artist in Walla Walla Studio

Walla Walla Studio is looking for a Senior Concept artist.As a Senior Concept artist, your responsibility will be creating concept art, storyboards, or animatics and further overseeing the art vision of a project during the next stages of production, ensuring high-quality art deliverables that align with our clients' goals. This role is a great opportunity for artists who would like to deepen their art professionalism as well as strengthen their leadership skills.For which tasks (responsibilities)?Evaluate and translate client needs and ideas into mood boards, collecting references, and outlining the art style.Create concept art, storyboards, or animatics for the projects.Onboard the art team on the project, providing relevant and inspiring references for the further stages of production.Providing iterative internal feedback to other artists, as well as implementing feedback from the client.Ensure aesthetic standards, visual consistency, and quality of art elements in the projects.Effectively collaborate with the art team, producer, and stakeholders to ensure art quality. What kind of professional are we looking for?Art-related experience in the video game industryBachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or related major. A solid understanding of art fundamentals (Excellent eye for lighting, color, composition, perspective, proportion, human and creature anatomy, portrait, illustration, architecture, etc.)Excellent visualization and conceptualization skills.Strong and versatile concept art portfolio (both environment and character concept art).Basic understanding of other art specializations, such as cinematography (shots, angles, camera movement, frame composition), 3D art and animation.Ability to work and review artworks in different art styles and levels of detail (both stylized and realistic).Open attitude, flexibility, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment with tight deadlines.Knowledge of industry-standard software (Photoshop, Blender, ZBrush, Substance Painter/Designer, etc...)Languages:Fluent UkrainianB2 EnglishWould be a plus:Team leadership experienceExperience working with junior artistsExperience working in an outsourcing companyWhy do we enjoy working here?You will be a part of a young studio and young team - that is why you will have a chance to influence and build company processes.
