Senior BI Developer in Volia Software

US Company is searching for Middle+/Senior BI developer to join our remote team on a part-time basis. The role offers remote work with a flexible schedule and may require approximately one hour of overlap with U.S. time for Sprint planning or ad hoc communication.

The key skills would be Power BI, MySQL, SQL, and Dashboards. In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of the Data Analysis and BI Development.
 

Initially, the position will require up to 10 hours per week for ramp-up, increasing to 10-20 hours per week during peak development periods.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and implement BI solutions that transform raw data into actionable insights
• Create and maintain scalable, efficient data models and data marts
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures
• Architect and maintain ETL pipelines to ensure smooth data flow from various sources
• Implement data quality checks and error handling mechanisms within ETL processes
• Optimize ETL jobs for performance and reliability
• Conduct predictive analytics to forecast business outcomes and support strategic planning
• Create compelling, interactive dashboards using Power BI
• Design intuitive data visualizations that effectively communicate complex insights to stakeholders
• Develop automated reporting systems to streamline information delivery

REQUIREMENTS:
• Proficiency in SQL (MySQL), Python, and BI tools Power BI, Tableau
• Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL processes
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

SKILLS REQUIRED:
• 4+ years of experience in BI development, data analysis, or related roles
• 3+ years of experience in Python development, with proficiency in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and visualization libraries
• Experience with ETL processes, Database Knowledge, and SQL optimization is essential.
• Good communication skills in English
