You will be responsible for contributing to complex software projects, providing technical expertise, and working with a team of talented engineers. You will expand capabilities, bring new solutions to market. As a member of the Core ISP (Integrated Services and PIN) platform team you will be responsible for systems which enable customer calls to be analyzed for risk and fraud. Software DevelopmentDesign, develop, test, and maintain our complex software applications, ensuring high-quality code (Golang and Python) and adherence to best practices. Play a critical role in the development and maintenance of our software products by designing, building, evolving, and scaling state-of-the-art solutions for the Pindrop platform.Be responsible for the operational excellence of our services through continual improvement projects, and participation in the on-call rotation.Deployment & AutomationDesign, implement, and manage continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated deployment.Automate the build, deployment, and configuration of cloud infrastructure.Collaborate with development teams to ensure successful deployment of applications in various environments (dev, staging, production).Infrastructure as Code (IaC).Utilize tools like Terraform (preferred), Ansible, or CloudFormation to define and manage infrastructure as code.Ensure infrastructure is scalable, highly available, and secure.Cloud ManagementDeploy and manage cloud services, with proficiency in AWS,, GCP, or other cloud platforms.Ensure cloud infrastructure is optimized for performance, cost-efficiency, and security.Security & ComplianceImplement security best practices in all stages of development and deployment, ensuring applications and infrastructure meet compliance standards.Maintain and manage SSL certificates, access control, and data encryption.Who you areYou have strong verbal and written communication skillsYou enjoy working within a collaborative environment across multiple departmentsYou love solving hard problems and finding ways to improve the efficiency of processesYou have a proven track record of providing stable and secure code in production environmentsYou are able to contribute to the feature development in the platform/product with minimal supervisionYou can deliver production ready code from start to finish with an eye towards performance, scale and securityYou are resilient in the face of challenges, change, and ambiguityYou are optimistic and believe that you can make a problem into a solutionYou are resourceful, excited to uncover innovative solutions and teach yourself something new when neededYou take accountability, do the things you say you’ll do, under-promise and over-deliverYou are nimble and adaptable when priorities change and continue to see the “forest through the trees”Your skill-set Technical Expertise8-10+ years of experience in Development, DevOps or a related fieldStrong experience with Golang and PythonStrong experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Github CI, etcHands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Experience with AWS or GCP cloud platforms (ideally both).Familiarity with version control systems (Git preferred)Familiarity with Infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform (preferred), or other toolsExperience operating production systems at scaleProblem SolvingStrong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issuesAbility to quickly adapt to changing technologies and architecturesSoft SkillsGood communication and collaboration skillsDetail-oriented with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality workAbility to work independently and in a fast-paced environmentNice to HavesCertifications in AWS or GCPExperience with Kubernetes orchestrationFamiliarity with Agile and DevOps practicesWhat’s in it for youAs a Pindropper, you join a rapidly growing company making technology more human with the power of voice.
