You will work with the existing London and Ukraine development teams with possible business trips to London.The QA Engineer will expand our Quality assurance team and work closely with the data-focused development team. The QA Engineer will be interested in all things data, and web technologies & be passionate about testing. You will report into the Head of QA, working with a team of developers across data-centric projects. Testing-related activities will include developing and designing test plans, scenarios, and acceptance criteria, production of test scripts and test execution as well as being involved in test coordination and management with a focus on data.About the company:Argus is a fast-growing global B2B media company providing essential information on commodity markets. About the project:Our client created five types of platforms, which help to deliver information instantly to customers. They collect and maintain complex data sets to help their customers understand the market, providing analysis, visualization, and expert opinion daily.Responsibilities:Plan to testPromote and implement the Argus test StrategyProvide a means of validating the ingestion, transformation, and storage of data from various sourcesCreation and maintenance of a test pipeline around microservicesProviding adequate detail on the quality status of a feature or features within a development cycle to the dev team and stakeholdersConduct functional, integration testing activities during an agile development cycleGuide and lead the development team in the application and design of quality measurement approaches and techniquesRequirements:English Upper-IntermediateDesign data quality checks against large data sets3+ years of proven automation in C#/Playwright with specflow as well as a manual testing background.Perform advanced data mining and data analysis to measure and report on datasets as part of data discovery and test creationA strong background and understanding of server-side testingChallenge assumptions with logical reasoningAdvanced knowledge of postmanStrong exposure to theautomation frameworks adding new tests and maintenanceStrong SQL skillsDesign and facilitate UAT sessions.Experience of collaborating with programmers and business experts in data scienceDesire and capability to learn new technologies.Demonstrate the use and advantages of heuristic evaluation during software testingKnowledge of Agile methodology and processes as a testerCreation of and maintenance of an automation suite used as part of sprint and regression testingBenefits:Annual Salary reviewGroup healthcare and life assurance scheme25 days holiday with annual increase up to 30 daysFree access to O’Reilly Books Online and UdemyNo overtime. 40 hours per week maximum1000£ to arrange your workplaceManagers will help to build a personal development plan and growDeveloper-friendly environment, clever, friendly colleagues.
