A big and well-established Polish company is looking for a Senior AQA Engineer to join their team in Prague, Czech Republic.
The company’s primary goal is to assist clients while they undergo a digital transformation in the field of finance technology. The company works on more than simply IT projects; they also provide help and guidance in all aspects of financial technology, giving the businesses the boost their needs to dominate the sector.
As a Senior AQA Engineer (SDET), you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of products. You will be embedded within a Scrum team, contributing to the development and execution of comprehensive testing strategies.
Project duration: 6 months with the possibility of extension.
Work conditions: hybrid mode (2 office days per week in Prague)
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Test Automation.
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools (JIRA or similar), and processes.
- Proficiency in Java and/or TypeScript with hands-on experience in automated testing tools (Cypress, Playwright, Rest Assured, etc.).
- Experience with DevOps, Gradle, Jenkins, and Docker.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach with co-workers.
- English knowledge of at least B2 level
- Ability to identify flaws in testing processes, toolsets, and infrastructure, and propose and drive necessary improvements.
You will be responsible for:
- Reviewing requirement specifications and user stories to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Designing, developing, and executing automation scripts and test automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Rest Assured, etc.).
- Working on the continuous integration of scripts (Jenkins) and driving the team towards continuous testing.
- Collaborating closely with Software/Test Engineers and Product Managers across the organization to understand context and drive automation and testing to meet objectives.
- Engaging in exploratory testing and test design sessions to improve overall product quality.
- Acquiring a deep understanding of the domain and approaching testing holistically to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Utilizing critical thinking to discern what to automate and strategically sampling critical tests to balance risk, cost, and value.
- Working with K8s and Helm chart.
