Senior Application Engineer (C/C++) IRC248892 in GlobalLogic

Description:Our customer is a 4G/5G chipmaker and leading provider of single-mode LTE chipset solutions to wireless device manufacturers worldwide. Software Integration team is in charge of integrating modem, drivers and application features in order to build 4G and 5G products. The team is also responsible for deploying integration test platform in order to track, debug issues seen on the product, during lab and field testing. And in addition the team is responsible for deploying embedded applicative developments for 4G products. In such context we are looking for Senior enginner for developing embedded and host (Win, Linux) applicative software.Requirements:7+ years of relevant development experienceStrong experience in C/C++ languages: concrete experience for deploying a software feature from design to development.Ability to understand and investigate interaction of various SW blocks and their application in a wireless environment including protocol proceduresDev testing methodology (test plans, tests reports, unit tests…)Good Knowledge in embedded SW development and networking protocolsFlexible: able to work on design/development and also to review/integrate developments coming from other people in the team.Good Knowledge on Python, Linux, git & gitlab, administration tools.At least intermediate English with good written and spoken communication skillsExperience with 4G or 5G will be a major plus.Job Responsibilities:Working on 4G/5G applicative software (IMS, LWM2M, secure upgrade, etc.) developments.Writing and performing unit tests plans in order to test specific applicative software features.Analyse issues reported by external R&D teams or curstomers in order to find a solution in relationship with integration team.What We OfferEmpowering Projects: With 500+ clients spanning diverse industries and domains, we provide an exciting opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking projects that leverage cutting-edge technologies.
