Job Description:
Working directly with the Coordinator, Safety Manager, Senior Safety Manager and Supervisor Representative offices in Ukraine regarding all issues related to security and security. The employee will cover the following locations: Kharkiv, Kharkiv region, Sumy.
To successfully perform this job, the individual must be able to perform each essential function regardless of the presence or absence of the relevant conditions.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Interact with local security organizations , local security agencies, police and other emergency services within Ukraine.
Assist in registration of new employees, registration of International Medical Corps offices, guest and warehouse programs. Providing assistance in obtaining a permit to restricted access zones (for personnel and vehicles) for all settlements of Ukraine, if it is permissible for operational reasons
Communicate and advise Security Coordinators (SFP) as needed
Monitor security measures within programs
Ensure familiarization of all field staff International Medical Corps with the most common security threats and providing advice on mitigation measures to reduce personnel vulnerability to these threats
Ensure proper use of the internal incident tracking system. Performance of limited imaging of incidents and analysis atnecessary
Work together with the Logistics and Transport Managers of the International Medical Corps to ensure that all drivers are informed, who work in the International Medical Corps on all aspects of the International Medical Corps driver policy
Manage, coordinate and perform all International Medical Corps security duties, work schedules and attendance records where possible for all International Medical Corps Central and Southern locations.
Other
Any other tasks at the request of the immediate supervisor or an authorized person.
Additional duties: temporary expansion of territorial responsibility, filling vacant positions for a certain period, replacing colleagues who are on sick leave/annual leave/business trip, internal duplication of positions, any specific tasks related to the needs of the organization.

Minimum requirements
3 - 5 years of experience at the level of Security Specialist/Manager ( Security Service, Police or Civil Defense)
A clear understanding of the security situation in Ukraine

knowledge and understanding of the current conflict
Experience of safely and effectively performing security duties in difficult environments.
Practical experience and knowledge of assessing risks, threats and vulnerabilities, mitigating conflicts and providing first aid
Strong negotiation, interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to speak or hold briefings in public, adequately answer questions from both senior managers and colleagues
li>Ability to read and write in English
Compose written reports and emails in English and send them to the senior security manager in the country.
