General information about the employee role:
The role is to provide key security threat support to ongoing programmatic activities in the South and Southeast of the Security and Access Division in close collaboration with the Logistics and Program teams.
The Security Specialist will provide real-time vehicle tracking of PIN Drivers/Employees conducting program activities and provide continuous up-to-date information on the exact location and movement of PIN Drivers/Employees.
The Security Specialist will actively work with teams working in high risk areas and ensure teams are properly briefed, trained and equipped.
The Security Officer, in coordination with the HoSA/SM, will be required to monitor current security developments in the PIN driver/personnel movement areas. In the event of a major security incident, the Security Specialist will work closely with the HoSA/SCE and the Crisis/Incident Management team using expert context assessment and PIN procedures and principles.
The Security Specialist will conduct a personal security assessment of the areas (current and potential) where the PIN operates, including high risk areas as well as PIN premises.
The Security Specialist will be actively involved in updating PIN security management plans, key security policies and protocols. A security specialist will also takeactive participation in scenario planning and forecasting and creation of security reports and other relevant analytical products.
The Security Specialist will be able to work independently and result-oriented in a large and diverse team with the ability to multitask. The security professional must demonstrate analytical skills and be able to work accurately, professionally and with respect for everyone, regardless of nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion or cultural background. normal">

Crisis Management Team">Profile Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate track the movement of PIN teams in real time and participate in route/movement planning.
Develop and maintain an excellent understanding of national and regional developments in the context of security.
Provide regular operational updates to drivers/PIN staff on current/anticipated threats/hazards to ensure route optimization.
Participate in the creation of a humanitarian access strategy (humanitarian notification, obtaining permits for access to the region, etc.).
Create and maintain a network of relevant stakeholders, including NGOs, local partners, law enforcement agencies, authorities, etc. Connect with similar industry players, including external security companies and service providers. Advise them on relevant safety-related operational issues as necessary.
Participate in thepreparation of security reports, scenario planning and forecasting the development of the security situation in the region.
Participate in reviewing the safety management plan and safety protocols related to medical evacuation, hibernation, evacuation and relocation of PIN personnel.
Ensure PIN staff work in accordance with security protocols, assist in identifying security needs.
Conduct security assessment of PIN operations areas and PIN premises in the South and South East with regular field visits (at least 40% of working hours).
Other relevant duties as assigned.
Assist in crisis response/incident response where necessary.
Maintain communication with relevant stakeholders, including donors, partner organizations, medical facilities, authorities, law enforcement agencies, etc.
Up to 3 years of experience in NGO and/or project management/securityof civil protection
English language
Level - intermediate.
