Role — SAP BTP, PhP & API Developer

The SAP BTP Developer will be responsible for managing, developing, and maintaining applications on the SAP BTP. This role requires strong coding skills in PHP, extensive experience with API development, and a solid understanding of SAP BTP services and architecture.

Description & Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in PHP.
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration with other systems and services.
• Collaborate & gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to application performance, functionality, and integration.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Ensure application security and data protection standards are met.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in SAP BTP, PHP, and API development.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all development activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of [5] years of experience in software development, with a focus on PHP and API development.
• Proven experience working with SAP BTP and its services.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Proficiency in PHP and related frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony).
• Experience with database design and management (e.g., SAP HANA, MySQL).
• Familiarity with cloud computing and cloud-based development.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to write clean, maintainable code.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• SAP BTP certification.
• Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
