The Role

As the Senior Salesforce Developer for Zaelab’s Salesforce B2B Practice, you will be responsible for the engineering consulting, design and implementation of next level experiences that enable our customers to provide optimal configuration, quoting and ordering. You will be part of a team that is delivering complex projects to clients in different industries around the world.

In this position you will be working closely with Customers, Sales, Practice Director, Quality Engineers, Engineering Team, Delivery Managers and Business Analysts. This role will be engaged during project discovery, design and delivery processes, and oversee/assist in project delivery with the Delivery Manager. This is a key role in the practice that will have ownership of technical implementation. As a client-facing role, the right candidate will have past Consulting skills necessary to communicate complex ideas for non-technical audiences to understand.

Requirements

  • Participate in project scoping, estimating and planning during planning process
  • Define technical approach for project implementation, with past experience on enterprise implementations
  • Oversee & contribute (engineering) to implementation of project delivery
  • Partner with Practice Director on new features, offerings, and define standardized methods for delivery that optimize efficiency
  • Become the subject matter expert in Zaelab’s partner tech stack, which includes technologies such as Threekit, Logik, Pimly, and evangelist within the company to train and educate team members,
  • Subject matter expert in Salesforce Commerce Cloud on Core, Salesforce Revenue Cloud
  • Participate in Customer calls (as-needed) to provide Senior Salesforce Developer and support for project delivery
  • Partner with other Engineers for QA, Project Management, and troubleshooting as necessary
  • Participate in stand-up meetings, conference calls, track your time, and work through tasks assigned to you within a Jira instance
  • Ability to learn how to implement Zaelab’s partner technologies on a variety of different CMS/ CPQ /eCommerce platforms
  • Partner with Practice Director on identifying/planning viable customer use cases that deliver bleeding edge
  • Salesforce Certifications Recommended:
    • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
    • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
    • Salesforce Certified App Builder
    • Salesforce Certified B2B Commerce Developer

Your Experience

  • 5+ successful years experience in a relevant role, such as a Senior Salesforce Developer
  • Tech\Team Lead role at least 2 years of JavaScript frameworks — Angular, React, or Vue.js (React preferred)
  • Proven experience in  CPQ
  • Expert with CSS, APEX, Javascript & HTML
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Experience in client-facing Consulting
  • Experience with agile/scrum process and continuous deployment
  • Transform visual designs and wireframes into working products, and ability to ‘fill in the blanks’ with best practices when a design has not specified all details
  • Troubleshoot and solve technical issues as needed
  • Consistently deliver high-quality products on time
  • Creative and scrappy- willing to think outside the box to achieve goals and get stuff done
  • Goal-oriented- motivated by reaching objectives and helping the company grow
  • Strategic thinker, tactical doer- someone who can think big but isn’t afraid to dig in and do the work
  • Strong understanding of B2B business processes and solutions.
  • Ability to drive & define B2B experience based solutions, and the technologies that will enable them
  • Proficient in  Salesforce B2B Commerce , including setup and configuration, order management, and integrations.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and find solutions to complex business problems.
  • Problems you’ve never encountered before excite you, and you methodically work to solve them
  • Thrives on researching and adopting new technologies
  • Nice to have experience with creating front-end layers for JEE applications using JSP
  • Nice to have CAD, 3D, WebGL or Three.js experience
  • A technical background (computer science, engineering, mathematics, economics, finance).
  • 3-5 years of business experience in processes with an in-depth understanding of the Quote/Lead to Cash process desired
