ML Logistics is looking for a reliable and talented safety manager to ensure every driver in the company complies with safety regulations. This position requires focus, drive, attention-to-detail and leadership skills to oversee and implement safety & compliance for 100 drivers in all areas of safety, compliance, and recruiting.

The goal is to ensure that our trucks are being run in a manner that meets all legal expectations and actively supports occupational health and safety of the drivers you are assigned, as well as the public. Here at ML Logistics you will be responsible for establishing policies that will create and maintain a safe truck driver who complies with logbook requirements and public safety.

We will train you on the job and be there to help develop your professional understanding of this key position.

Requirements:

• Experience with FMCSA DOT compliance and Hours of Service regulations
• Experience in trucking and logistics field
• Excellent time management skills, multitasking and stress management skills to be able to ensure that tasks get completed on time.
• Excellent communication (written, verbal, and presentation) and interpersonal skills (sometimes juggling multiple calls)
• Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
• Excellent organizational and motivational skills
• Attention to detail
• Teamwork oriented, especially with regards to drivers and dispatchers
• Stable, diligent, punctual, ready to learn, consistently positive outlook
• Basic computer skills
• Fluent English 
• Fluent Ukrainian/Russian 

Responsibilities:

• Driver Qualification Documents
• Drug and Alcohol Testing Results
• FMCSA Pre-Employment Screening Results
• USDOT Registrations and Applicable Filings
• Represent clients in FMCSA and State Compliance Reviews
• Overlook the companies' safety and DOT compliance.
• Process, verify and audit E-Logs including device training for drivers to ensure full compliance with HOS regulations.
• Perform general administrative duties to include strong telephone skills and well written correspondence.
• Assist drivers on the road with their HOS issues and perform well under pressure.
• Monitor all compliance items including physicals, licenses, random drug screens, annual reviews, hours of service regulations to ensure adherence at every operation.
• Handle accidents, insurance claims and audits.
• Participate in new driver orientation and on-boarding processes.

Schedule: Sat & Sun — 6 am to 2 pm EST / 8 am - 4 pm EST

Job type: Remote.

Salary: 2 month trial, then the salary will depend on the results.
