Under the direct supervision of a Health Specialist
Medical Activity Specialist
is responsible for supporting mobile medical teams (MMBs) in the process of consulting on the provision of medical services in 400 urban collective centers that host 400,000 internally displaced persons (IDPs), in Dnipro and regions.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To ensure continuous implementation of the project in urban collective centers
1.1. Assist the Specialist in supporting the medical activities of MMB projects in dealing with emergency cases.
1.2. Perform the duties of a specialist in medical activities, which include the following: distribution, administration of injections, dressings and prioritization of care for patients.
1.3. To prepare the means necessary for conducting medical consultations and organize work space for receiving new people on a daily basis in the city's collective centers.
1.4. Track costs of supplies and materials used in first aid bags on a daily basis. Ensure proper use and management of supplies and equipment provided for mobile services through engagement programs.
1.5. Assist in the preparation of requests for medical supplies for the activities of the interaction program in coordination with the state health care institutionrovya and teams on pharmaceuticals/PUI suppliers.
1.6. Provide general medical advice to individuals.
2. Provide support in the process of medical data collection and reporting
2.1. Assist the MMB Health Specialist with the collection of epidemiological statistics for daily incidence control reports. As part of the activities of mobile interaction programs, document disease cases, medical care and its results.
2.2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in accordance with PUI standards and state healthcare facility standards.
2.3. Provide regular reports on the interaction program, including problems encountered, number of visitors and types of services provided.
2.4. Assist the Project Medical Support Specialist to fill out daily forms for tracking the use of resources.
2.5. Participate in general examinations of patients during medical consultations, which will be provided in city collective centers.
3. Contribute to the development of the project and ensure high quality of project implementation.
3.1. Actively participate in the daily discussion of reports with the multi-sectoral project manager and provide feedback on improving the project implementation process.
3.2. Actively participate in weekly general meetings with the multi-sectoral project manager regarding safety and general project monitoring.
QUALIFIED REQUIREMENTS
Education:
diploma in the specialty "Nursing case", "Medical case".
Work experience:
< p style="font-weight: normal; font-style: normal">at least 3 years in medicine or other related specialization.Knowledge of languages:
< p style="font-weight: normal; font-style: normal">Fluent command of Ukrainian and English.Knowledge and skills:
Human anatomy and physiology, dressing methods, critical thinking, organizational skills, excellent communication skills.
PC Proficiency:< /p>
Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office package (with a focus on Excel and Word).

GENERAL OBJECTIVE
Under the direct supervision of the Doctor, Nurse is responsible to support MHT medical teams to consult on delivering medical services in the 400 urban collectives centers welcoming 400,000 Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Dnipro and region.
TASKS AND DUTIES
1. Support smooth project implementation in urban collective centers
1.1. Assist Doctor for the management of the emergency cases.
1.2. Perform nursing duties including: distribution of drugs, injections, dressings and triage.
1.3. Prepare materials needed for conducting the medical consultations and arrange the working space for welcoming patients on daily basis in urban collective centres.
1.4. Track consumption of the drugs and materials used from the emergency bags on daily basis. Ensure proper utilization and management of medical supplies and equipment provided for mobile outreach services.
1.5. Assist in the preparation of medical supply requests for outreach activities in coordination with the state Health Facility and PUI Pharmacy/ Supply teams.
1.6. Provide basic information regarding health education to the patients.
2. Support medical data collection and reporting
2.1. Assist Doctor in terms of collection of epidemiological statistics for Daily Morbidity Reports monitoring forms. Document patient cases, treatment provided, and outcomes as part of outreach activities.
2.2. Maintain accurate and updated records in line with both PUI and state Health Facility standards.
2.3. Submit regular reports on outreach activities, including challenges faced, patient numbers, and types of services provided.
2.4. Assist Doctor in terms of filling Daily Drugs Consumption Reports monitoring forms.
2.5. Participate in general surveys to be conducted with the patients during the medical consultations conducted in urban collective centres.
3. Contribute to the project designing and ensuring quality of the project implementation.
Actively participate in daily debriefing with the Multi-Sectoral Project Managers and provide feedback on the project implementation improvement.
3.2. Actively participate in weekly general staff meeting with the Multi-Sectoral Project Managers regarding security and overall monitoring of the project.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Degree:
Nurse Diploma, Doctor Diploma.
Work experience:
At least 3 years' experience in Medical field or other related field.
Language Skills:
Fluent in Ukrainian and English
Knowledge & skills:
Anatomy and physiology, bandaging methods, good critical thinking, organizational skills, excellent communication skills.
Computer skills:
Confident user of Microsoft Office (with focus on Excel and Word).
