Research Project Manager in Sense Research

Hello! My name is Svitlana Bolman, and I founded Sense Research in September 2024. It seemed to me a logical extension of my 9 years of experience in research and a one-year research management contract at WHO, as well as the volume of orders that cannot be handled by contractors alone: ​​without a team that shares my values, it is impossible to move forward. I wanted to do what I love the most - socially responsible and socially significant research, and not research how to better get people into gambling or how to advertise tobacco to bypass legislative updates. I am in favor of working on human terms: from home, not from the office; in a flexible schedule, not in an irregular one; on value, not on illusory success. 

Qualification requirements:

1. Skills in project management

2. Skills in negotiating with stakeholders (customers, contractors, etc.)
3. Language competence, namely, fluency in the Ukrainian language, the ability to write competently, the level of English is B1+. The work will involve correspondence and reporting in English

4. Digital competence, namely, skills in searching for information on the Internet, advanced skills in Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook

5. Developed logical thinking, the ability to see the result of the project by individual processes and tasks

Will advantage:

1. Higher education (available or in the process of obtaining) in the field of management, social sciences, life sciences, medical direction

2. Skills in editing technical and/or scientific texts

3. Work experience in scientific/applied research

4. Project management experience (team, budget, timelines)

Main duties:

• Tracking project timelines and budget

• Participation in meetings with customers, contractors, writing meeting minutes

• Setting tasks for team members, coordinating team activities

• Checking completed tasks according to key criteria, ensuring the quality of prepared data

• Calculating the cost of projects, assessing the availability of resources for project implementation

• Maintenance of project documentation, preparation of documents for submission to tenders/grants
