GO "Proliska" announces a competition to fill the vacant position "Regional head of social support" in Zaporozhye.
Proliska public organization is a non-commercial, non-political humanitarian organization that since 2014 provides comprehensive assistance and protection to the population affected by the war in Ukraine.
Currently, our organization works in 13 regions of Ukraine and carries out: social support of the most vulnerable persons who suffered as a result of military actions; provision of psychological assistance to victims; consulting on social issues; provision of humanitarian aid and materials for emergency repairs of housing damaged as a result of hostilities; provision of assistance to institutions and establishments where IDPs have found refuge; assistance in the evacuation of the population from the war zone and social transportation of residents of settlements along the line of hostilities and in de-occupied territories where regular transport does not operate.
I. Requirements for the contestant:
- Higher education (legal or social work).
- Experience work in managerial positions (will be an advantage).
- Previous experience of working in humanitarian or international organizations (will be an advantage).
- Experience in social work, work with internally displaced persons and/or vulnerable categories of the population (will be an advantage).
- Skills in providing psychosocial first aid (will be an advantage).
- Readiness for regular trips within the region, including to the territory close to the zone conduct of hostilities, on the territory under the control of the Government of Ukraine.
- Fluent command of the Ukrainian language (required) and command of the English language (will be advantage).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to inspire a team and motivate people to selfless work, achieve individual and team results, effectively delegate tasks and manage performance, conduct monitoring and analysis activities to improve efficiency.
- Ability to think critically, be proactive and proactive.
II. Functional duties:
- Planning, coordination and analysis of the activities of the personnel involved in the implementation of the project, distribution of the load and control according to the quality of performance. Ensuring the fulfillment of tasks (indicators) assigned to the humanitarian center on case management issues.
- Ensuring methodical, scientific-practical and educational coordination of the work of case managers of regional centers, with the aim of increasing the general level of professional training of employees who perform tasks and implement project goals.
- Performance of cases/case audits (case audits).
- Determining the basic needs of IDPs using Forms and Standards of the operational procedure, and ensuring that case managers provide the necessary services for their satisfaction.
- Coordination of activities with other partner organizations, institutions providing assistance to IDPs; redirecting, if necessary, IDPs to receive services.
- Performance of analysis and summarization of quantitative and qualitative indicators of the work of case managers, preparation of regular reports (for management, donors, partners), ensuring accuracy, content and timeliness of submission statistical and analytical reports, schedules and other relevant working documents (filling in relevant reporting documents and online forms).
- Participation during partner visits in field trips, preparation and presentation of statistical data, regarding trends in assistance, issues, solutions and another information.
- Interaction with the communication department in matters of informing the public about assistance to IDPs, achievements of the case manager team, measures taken, changes in legislation, etc.
- Adherence to the mission, values, and ethical principles of work .
- Ensuring privacy principles information.
- Taking measures to preserve property and other valuables transferred to him/her or used by him/her in the course of professional activity.
- Execution of other orders of the employer aimed at comprehensive assistance peaceful population that suffered as a result of the armed conflict.
III. We offer the successful candidate:
- A trial period of up to 2 months, with a further contract until December 31, 2025 .
