Regional consultant of the Coordinating Center for the Development of Family Education and Child Care in ZEST Autsorsing

We are holding a competition for the position "Regional consultant of the Coordination Center for the Development of Family Education and Child Care in the Kharkiv Region." to the team of the Coordination Center for the Development of Family Education and Child Care. 

The coordination center is a consulting body of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, whose task is to coordinate the efforts of the government, international and public organizations for the development of the child care system based on global and European practices, which will meet the urgent needs of Ukraine and the long-term goals of joining the of the European Union. https://bit.ly/452hYHo
 
Main duties:

• < p>Development and implementation of a regional strategy for the reform of the care and support system for children in the region.

• Presentation of the Coordinating Center for the Development of Family Education and Care of children in the region

• Together with the region, develop recommendations for overcoming barriers in the reform of the system of care and support for children, and, if necessary, advocate the interests of the region.

• Constant interaction with regional interagency working groups on the transformation of the care system and support for children.

• Providing assistance to the region in the preparation and implementation of regional plans for the implementation of programs in the field of family education and child care development.

• Development of strong partnership relations with local authorities, non-governmental organizations, public organizations and other stakeholders, close cooperation with the regional military administration and the profile deputy.

• Providing support for the organization and coordination of the implementation of measures provided for in the joint action plan

• Facilitation of regular communication and coordination between stakeholders to ensure the cohesion of efforts aimed at improving child care in the region.

• Continuous interaction with united territorial communities and districts to create and develop services for children and families with children.

• Support implementation of the training program on the development and implementation of regional plans. 

• Overseeing the implementation of programs and initiatives in the field of child care and support in the region, including international ones. Conducting regular evaluation and providing feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements for candidates:

• Education: Master's degree in social work, public administration, child development, business administration, public administration, international development or related fields.

• 5 years of experience in the field of regional development, preferably in the field of social services or related fields.

• Experience of working with state bodies and public organizations and the ability to unite them around the topic of social sector development.

• English — Intermediatee/Upper Intermediate level.

• Fluency in the Ukrainian language.

• Strong leadership qualities and strategic planning skills .

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and establish and maintain close working relationships with by different partners and counterparties on different levels.
