Regional application processing specialist in Kyiv and Chernihiv regions (UASP support program for farmers) in Pidtrimka Agro, BF

About the organization and program:BO BF Podtrymka AGRO, a local partner of the international humanitarian organization Mercy Corps, which implements the Ukraine Agriculture Support Program (UASP)with the support of the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, implements support for war-affected micro, small and medium agricultural producers in four regions. The program provides grants and other assistance for the recovery and development of agribusiness.

We are looking for a regional application processing specialist who will work with applicants and beneficiaries from Chernihiv and Kyiv regions

Tasks:

• Initial selection of applications for compliance with program requirements.

• Checking the completeness of applications, communication with applicants regarding corrections/additions.

• Entering data into the electronic platform, keeping them up to date.

• Exit visits to applicants (verification, review of capacities, clarification needs).

• Participation in the preparation of brief conclusions/summaries of applications for further consideration.

• Preparation of simple reports (number of applications, statuses, basic analytics).

Requirements:

• Higher education (agricultural, economics, management, public administration or related specialties).

• 2 years of experience in at least one area:

  • work in international technical assistance projects / grant programs;

  • work with credit/grant/investment applications;

  • agroconsulting, working with farmers, cooperatives, agro-enterprises.

• Understanding the specifics of the agricultural sector (small and medium-sized producers, basic processes in crop/livestock production).

• Confident command of Excel and other office programs.
