Real-time VFX Artist (Unannounced Shooter Game) Lviv, Warsaw (Poland), remotely My We are developing an unannounced multi-platform third-person shooter in a realistic setting with innovative gameplay. This is a large and ambitious project from a technical point of view, as well as graphics and game design. The new project is an opportunity to influence key decisions in the design of game features and mechanics, prototyping, and art development. We make our product and control all stages of game creation from idea to implementation. We are looking for a Real-time VFXArtist who will become a leader in the field. The specialist will be engaged in the construction of the pipeline, will interact with teams of artists, technical artists and external specialists, and will be responsible for the design and integration of visual effects. You will be able to work from an office in Lviv, Warsaw or remotely on the territory of Poland or Ukraine. You will: develop high-quality effects for weapons, characters of game levels; create concepts and develop real-time VFX for mobile games on Unity; create simulations and sequences in Houdini or other 3D editors and integrate them in Unity; to profile and optimize your created effects and game assets; approve effects created by external specialists, provide feedback on them; build and optimize the pipeline. We expect from you: 4+ years of experience in the video industry as a Real-Time VFXArtist; knowledge of the principles of movement, anticipation, dynamics and other aspects of animation; experience creating VFX in Unity; experience in writing or creating VFX shaders in node-based editors; 3D modeling and 3D animation skills; experience in creating UV scanning and card baking; skills in creating textures for VFX; work experience with Particle Systems; experience with GIT or other version control systems; experience in organizing the process of creating effects; knowledge of the English language equal to Upper-Intermediate+. It will be an advantage: knowledge of HLSL, C# or another programming language; understanding of hardware and limitations of mobile devices; experience in creating simulations in Houdini and integration in Unity; experience with Substance Painter and Designer.
