Position: React Native Developer (Mid-Level)

Company: Medoteka — Ukrainian MedTech Startup (Pre-Seed)

About the Project:

We are a pioneering MedTech startup focused on creating a secure platform for storing medical documents. We are in the inception phase and aim to build a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for both iOS and Android platforms. The MVP will be based on up to 30 Figma screens, with the backend being developed by another engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the MVP based on provided Figma designs and mock backend.
• Write and optimize code for both Android and iOS devices using React Native.
• Collaborate with the backend engineer to ensure seamless integration.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and maintain effective communication within the team.
• Work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in developing mobile applications with React Native.
• Strong proficiency in  React Native with a deep understanding of mobile development principles.
• Ability to turn Figma designs into a functional product from start to finish.
• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining alignment with the team.
• English proficiency at a B1-B2 level or higher.
• Location: Remote (Ukraine)

Nice to Have:

• Experience managing builds and submitting apps to  App Store Connect and Google Play Console .
• Good understanding of the CI/CD pipeline for mobile apps.
• Full-stack experience in web or mobile development.
• Database (DB) knowledge for better understanding and potential future scalability.

Project Timeline:

• 2-3 months, with the possibility of extension if required.
