Radio engineer-tester in Infozahist, TOV, NVC

Infozahyst is a private research and production center specializing in radio reconnaissance, countering drones aircraft, means of protection and intelligence of computer networks, creation of software and integration of solutions of the world's leading manufacturers.

We invite an entry-level Radio Test Engineer to join our RND team (ready to consider students from the 3rd year and above in technical fields).

Needed skills:

• Desire to develop, responsibility, proactivity, ability to work in a team and independently
• Basics of radio engineering (antennas, MSHP, their main parameters)
• Understanding the operation of superheterodyne receivers (Principle of operation, main RF parameters)
• Understanding the operation of direction finding systems (their main types and direction-finding methods)
• Understanding the operation of radar systems and their parameters
• Understanding the principles of signal theory (types of signals and their modulation, spectral analysis, PPRF signals, typical frequencies of GSM, GPS, FM, etc.)
• Basic understanding of FPGA operation
• Understanding of SDR receiver operation (signal reception and generation, ADC, DAC)
• Experience with measuring equipment (spectrum analyzer, generator, oscilloscope)
• Knowledge of types, stages and methods of testing
• A confident user of Windows and/or Linux
• English - at the level of understanding technical documentation

It will be a plus:

• Experience of working with Python programming language (working with pandas libraries, matplotlib, etc., using multiprocessing, writing scripts for working with hardware and testing hardware protocols)
• Experience in testing embedded systems
• Experience with Jira, Confluence
• Engineering Pet projects

Main tasks:

• Verification of software and hardware according to developed testing methods
• Creation/updation of test documentation (cases, plans, strategies, checklists, reports, etc.)
• Participation in conducting field and laboratory experiments, checks, measurements, etc.
• Develop in the development of software in the language Python programming for automating testing processes, working with measuring equipment, etc.
