R&D Project Manager (Innovation) in ACCORD CONSULTING

In connection with active growth, invites a person to the team who not only manages tasks in Jira, but is passionate about new technologies. You will lead the creation of something that did not exist yesterday. Our innovation department is a place for rapid hypotheses, prototyping and work with drones/copters and complex mechanics.

Your tasks:

• R&D sprint management: coordination of rapid prototyping (PoC) and hypothesis testing. Your goal is "Fail fast, learn faster".
• 360° communication: be a translator between inventors, designers and business. You will have to talk a lot, negotiate and "get" information.
• Resource management: searching for specific components, monitoring their availability for tests.
• Working "in the fields": participating in test trials (testing sites, laboratory), collecting feedback and immediately setting tasks for refinement.
• Basic: planning, monitoring deadlines, maintaining documentation on experiments (to a successful result could be repeated).

Our ideal candidate:

• PM experience: 2+ years of project management (preferably technical/engineering).
• Technical curiosity: you are genuinely interested in how copters fly, how mechanics work or what is aerodynamics. You are not afraid to learn new things.
• Resistance to stress: in innovation, everything goes to pieces every day. You should not see a burnt prototype as a tragedy, but as data for analysis.
• Flexibility and sociability: you know how to approach specific technical geniuses and introverts.
• English: Intermediate+ (reading technical documentation for components).

Will an advantage:

• Hard Skills: understanding the basics of electrical engineering (distinguish "plus" from "minus", know what voltage and current are).
• Engineering background: basic knowledge of mechanics, electronics or robotics.
• CAD systems: you know how to open drawings (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, etc.), rotate the model and understand what the designers are talking about.
• Experience in DevTech
