Quality Assurance Engineer in Lyft

As a member of this team, you will play a critical role in upholding our commitment to excellence by providing comprehensive quality support to multiple engineering teams.Responsibilities:Define and implement test plan by collaborating with the cross-functional teamParticipate in test strategy definition along with automation teamAnalyze design docs and requirements to define test casesImplement test case design techniques to define positive, negative and corner casesPrioritize and identify regression and smoke test casesConduct test plan and test cases reviewsIdentify and propose ideas to improve testing processExecution of test cases under different platforms (web, mobile and backend)Report execution results and provide Sign-offReport, prioritize and track defectsPerform exploratory testingExperience:Experience in developing and documenting test plan, test cases and reporting defectsHave experience executing E2E testing and reporting resultsExperience with test case design techniques implementationHave experience with backend/services testingHave worked on web/mobile platform and have a very good understanding of and ability to troubleshoot the testing ecosystem (plus points for mobile experience)Have significant experience and willingness to work with other teams such as engineering, product and release teamsAre constantly thinking ahead, and building for future changes in an ever-changing ecosystemShows a passion for learning, especially through looking at new processes and tools that have significant impact on engineering teamsExperience of prioritizing and coordinating work across a large number of product teams is a plusExcellent communication skillsBenefits:Professional and stable working environment.The latest technology and equipment you need.English classes with native speakers.Potential to work remotely, including out of country (dependent on work authorizations).28 calendar days for vacation and up to 5 paid days off.18 weeks of paid parental leave.
