This position will provide specialized training. As a QC Analyst you'll be responsible for reviewing and analyzing data to ensure high quality standards are maintained. The Data Analysis and Quality Control process includes review of sound and other data to identify quality issues or irregularities in accordance with training provided after being hired. This is a fulltime office-based position for the period of traning. Additionally, this position may be required to work varying schedules in accordance with the Labor Code.
Requirements
- English — must be able to communicate (speak, understand and write) in English at an intermediate or higher level (required)
- Must be technically inclined, and enjoy working with computers and various software applications
- Must be detail oriented
- Must be very reliable, consistent and well organized; keep precise and accurate work-related records
- Must not get bored or become easily distracted when performing repetitive tasks
- Must have the ability to apply general rules to solve specific problems
- Must have a good memory, with the ability to recall the general technical characteristics of previously reviewed data
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members and management, and prepare written reports
- Ability to work effectively and in harmony with a team to contribute to the overall success of the team
Responsibilities
- Correctly evaluate and label sound and data files using software and other tools. Inspect, sort data and apply rules to determine data quality.
- Accurately identify potential or actual quality issues, document findings to include specific issues or irregularities, communicate findings with team leadership, and escalate to management as required.
- As required or directed, assist team members with various Quality Control projects to ensure the success of the Team.
