QA Generalist Engineer(Automation) in Maestro Ticket System (Kontramarka Ukrayina)

We are a leading company in the field of business process automation and one of the leaders among ticketing operators. We specialize in the development and sale of ticketing systems for various mass event venues in Ukraine and Europe.

We are looking for a Middle/Middle+ QA Automation Engineer to join our team and assist with the test automation process.

Required practical experience:

— 3+ years of experience (front-end/back-end) in e-commerce and fintech

— Experience in creating test documentation: checklists, test cases, test reports, etc.

— Experience working on projects with modular/service and monolithic architectures

— Understanding of PHP, JS, HTML/CSS, JSON, XML

— Basic understanding of DNS, TCP/IP (IP addressing)

— Familiarity with web frameworks (Yii, Laravel, Vue.js, Bootstrap) is an additional advantage

— Experience testing web applications and mobile applications

— Experience testing backends: APIs, databases (SQL, Mongo), third-party service integrations — web analytics FB/Google

— Experience with bug-tracking systems (JIRA)

— Knowledge of SQL

— Knowledge of QA tools: TestRail, Chrome Developer Tools, Charles, Postman, Fiddler, Swagger, etc.

— Good knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, web applications, and understanding of client-server architecture

— Experience with PageSpeed Insights, Google Search Console

— Excellent understanding of server request headers: what they are, how to view them, how to emulate them

— Excellent understanding of website resource optimization and resource caching: how to check, why to use

Key responsibilities and tasks:

— Analyzing and processing requirements

— Creating test plans and test cases/checklists and other types of test documentation

— Test automation

— Performing functional and regression testing

— Reporting identified defects, tracking issue reports, and verifying after resolution

— Effective collaboration with team members to achieve the best results

— Regular analysis of conducted tests, forming suggestions for work optimization and product development

— Regular and clear reporting on the status and progress of work, identifying potential risks in advance
