QA Engineer (VMS) in Ajax Systems

Ajax Systems is a full cycle Ukrainian company working from idea generation and R&D to mass production and sales. We do everything: we produce physical devices (the system consists of many different sensors and hubs), develop firmware for them, develop the server part and release mobile applications.
 

This is an opportunity to be part of a team that works on the integration of streaming video into the Ajax ecosystem. You will work with mobile applications that interact with both the backend and physical devices. The position assumes that you are able to research complex issues.
 

Tasks:

- Participate in the preparation of releases;

- together with the team to make a quality product and maintain it;

- creation and support of checklists and test cases;

- help in troubleshooting and root cause analysis;

- cooperation with team members to achieve the best results (developers, BA, QA of other teams).
 

Knowledge and skills required:

- Knowledge of network equipment, protocols;

- knowledge of Linux OS;

- knowledge of testing principles and methodologies;

- understanding of client-server architecture;

- understanding of the OSI model;

- understanding of the version control system (git) and its principles;

- strong technical mind and analytical thinking;

- high attention to details;

- initiative.
 

Will be a plus:

- Experience work with video testing;

- experience as a system administrator;

- understanding embedded projects;

- troubleshooting network problems;

- technical education;

- Kibana;

- SQL, KQL etc;
