QA Engineer (Mobile/Desktop) in Ajax Systems

We develop not only wireless security systems, but also our own software. Therefore, a mobile application was created to configure and work with the Ajax system - Ajax for IOS and Android. The application helps our users to independently configure the system - to connect, configure in a way that is convenient for them, as well as manage the state of the system. The PRO version of the mobile application allows security companies to install and configure the system. It includes the functions of a regular application and aims to facilitate the work of security companies.

What are we looking for in a candidate?
- 1+ years of experience in manual Mobile App testing;
- excellent knowledge of testing theory;
- ability to apply test design techniques;
- experience with Android studio and Xcode;
- knowledge of SDLC;
- experience working with requirements and technical specifications;
- good analytical skills;
- ability not only to find a problem, but also to find a cause and effect relationship;
- experience working with JIRA , Confluence, Testrail;
- basic knowledge of Windows/MacOS/Linux;
- experience of working with logs;
- experience of working with client-server architecture;
- knowledge of binary and hexadecimal number systems;
- high level of self-organization.

It is great if you have:
- work experience REST API or gRPC;
- experience with Kibana;
- experience with performance testing, localization testing, installation testing, failover and recovery testing;
- experience with Git and Jenkins.< br/>
What are the challenges?
- Desktop Application testing (Windows/MacOS);
- find the problem not only in the Desktop Application, but also in other parts of the system (Server, Mobile App, RTOS);
- the possibility of using the WhiteBox testing method based on Python knowledge; to localize the problem;
- work with QA Tools (MoсkServer, emulators);
- participation in the analysis and updating of documentation;
- task estimation;
- interaction with other teams and departments (developers, designers, business analysts);
- interaction with Beta Test participants and the Support team;
- participation in the optimization of testing processes;
- work with Git and Jenkins.
