QA engineer in DIGITUM

Digitum is an innovative MarTech company. We actively develop an ecosystem of products for companies working with client bases, provide support in data science, IT solutions, creative developments based on analytics. 

- Detection, documentation and support of defects in tracking systems (Jira or similar), determination of severity/priority and participation in defect triage.

- Conducting root cause analysis and quality control of fixes.

- Preparation of reports on test results, quality metrics and risks release.

- Participation in Agile processes (grooming, planning, demo, retrospective) and assessment of tasks.

- Interaction with developers, analysts and product managers to improve product quality.

- Participation in preparation and support of automated tests (if available) or willingness to develop in the direction of test automation.

 Requirements:

- 1.5 years of work experience.

- Experience with test management and defect tracking systems (TestRail, Jira, HP ALM or similar) for planning, execution and control of test results.

- Ability to create and maintain test documentation: test cases, checklists, test plans, bug reports, test reports.

- Confident use of developer tools and network analysis for debugging web applications (Chrome DevTools, Firefox Developer Tools, Charles, Fiddler).

- Knowledge of the main types and techniques of testing (functional, regression, integration, smoke/sanity, UX, basic security checks) and application of test design techniques when preparing test scenarios.

- API testing experience: understanding of protocols REST/SOAP and the use of Postman, Swagger, SoapUI or similar tools.

- Basic Git skills, understanding of CI/CD principles and the software development life cycle.

- Basic knowledge of SQL to check the correctness of data in databases.
