QA engineer in OBDZhEKT KONTROL, TOV

OBJECT CONTROL LLC is a product IT company working in insurtech and fintech. Our solutions are used by thousands of people every day, so quality, stability and fast releases are important to us. We are currently looking for a QA Engineer who will strengthen the team and help maintain a high level of product quality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct manual testing of web/mobile products (functional, smoke, regression).

• Creation and updating of test documentation: checklists, test cases, scenarios.

• Registration of defects in bug trackers (Jira / YouTrack or similar): clear reproduction steps, expected/actual result, evidence.

• Verification of fixes, retesting, participation in release quality control.

• Analysis of requirements and clarification of details/acceptance criteria before the start of testing.

• Interaction with developers, design and management for prompt problem solving.

Requirements

• Commercial experience QA Engineer from 2 years.

• Sure understanding of testing principles, test types and basic test design techniques.

• Understanding SDLC / STLC.

• Experience with test documentation (checklists, test cases).

• Experience with Jira / YouTrack / Trello or other tracking systems.

• Attention to details, structural thinking, responsibility.

• Ability to qualitatively describe bugs and communicate with the team.

Will be a plus

• Understanding of client-server interaction.

• Experience with Postman or similar.

• Basic knowledge of SQL.

• Skills of working with DevTools, basic HTML/CSS.
