QA Engineer in INFOTEH, DP

For more than 7 years, we have been developing and selling software products under the MIA trademark. In addition, INFOTECH is an official provider of IT solutions for government institutions. Our projects cover a wide range of areas, including cryptographic protection, digital transformation, as well as IT solutions for medicine, education, finance, public administration and telecommunications.

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team

Main Responsibilities

• Full cycle testing support (STLC). reports
• Analysis and improvement of testing processes

What is required for this

• Higher education in the relevant field of training
• 1.5 + years of experience in a similar role
• Understanding SDLC and STLC, including all stages - from planning to implementation and support
• Ability to work with project documentation
• Knowledge and ability to apply test design techniques (equivalent partitioning, boundary value analysis, scenario-based testing, pairwise testing)
• Skill and practice of writing full-fledged test scenarios
• Understanding the principles of forming sets for regression testing
• Understanding the basics of client-server architecture and experience in REST API testing (creating and executing test cases, checking the correctness of requests/responses)
• Basic knowledge of databases (SQL) and the ability to check the correctness of saving/retrieving data at the DB level

Will an advantage

• Basic knowledge in automated testing (Python, Playwright) or willingness to learn
• Experience in SDLC processes
• Initial work estimation skills (in hours)
• Practical skills in working with tools: Jira, Zephyr (or other test management systems), Confluence
• Hands-on experience with databases (writing more complex SQL queries, joins, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of automated testing (Python, Playwright) or willingness to learn
• Willingness to learn and develop in the direction of testing, including automation and/or deepening technical skills
