We are looking for a professional addition to the team - a proactive and focused QA Engineer.
We are Markupus, for 10 years we have been developing fast and high-quality websites and web applications on WordPress, React and Next.js for customers from Europe and the USA.

You will be interested with us if:
- you have 1 year of QA experience, and the main desire and inspiration to develop further in manual testing.
What is required of you?
- ability to learn/desire to learn new things both in the process of communicating with the team and independently;
- work experience withWordPress;
- competent oral and written language;
- ability to clearly and precisely describe the errors found, ability to form a bug report in ClickUp;
- knowledge of testing theory, experience of manual testing of sites and web applications;
- understanding of rubber/responsive layout;
- basic concepts of HTML, CSS, HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, tags, styles;
- understanding of Pixel Perfect, REST API, POST/GET-requests;
- ability to work basic with a developer tool (check styles/colors for layout compliance, check fonts used for compliance, etc.);
- experience testing adaptability, cross-browser and payment systems (PayPal, Stripe;
- perfectionism and attentiveness to details;
- English from B1.
Will be a plus:
- skills in writing simple SQL queries;
- experience in test automation (Cypress, Selenium, Playwright);
- experience with BrowserStack, Jira or other tools;
- ability to connect to a database.
Your area of responsibility will include:
- reading technical specifications to understand client requirements;
- testing desktop and adaptive (if possible on real devices, the rest in http://browserstack.com);
- testing sites in the most popular browsers and on different devices;
- testing the performance of admin panels;
- understanding site testing scenarios;
- documentation of all bugs and ways of reproduction for the development department;
- setting tasks for the correction of detected defects to developers;
- control of their execution/Retest of eliminated defects; participation in the elimination of detected errors;
- effective interaction and cooperation with internal teams.
