What We're Looking For

We're seeking a detail-oriented    QA Engineer    who's passionate about software quality and thrives in a fast-paced, Agile environment. If you have a sharp eye for detail, love solving problems, and enjoy building scalable automated testing frameworks, this role is for you. You'll play a vital role in maintaining the excellence of our cutting-edge AI products by validating features, identifying issues early, and improving our testing processes.

What You'll Do

As a QA Engineer at MiaRec, you'll take the lead on maintaining quality across our tech stack:

• Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases across backend and front-end components

• Collaborate with developers and product managers to review requirements and user stories

• Conduct functional, regression, performance, and security testing of web apps and APIs

• Log and track defects using Jira or similar issue-tracking systems

• Manage and organize test plans using TestRail or equivalent tools

• Build and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium, PyTest, or Cypress

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives

• Validate cloud-based applications in Linux environments, preferably AWS

• Help assess and address security vulnerabilities based on OWASP best practices

• Integrate QA workflows into CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI

• Continuously improve test coverage and QA processes

What You'll Bring

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• 5+ years of experience in QA or software testing

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  
  

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and the SDLC
  
  

• Hands-on experience with automated tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or PyTest
  
  

• Proficiency in test management tools like TestRail
  
  

Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or Swagger



• Scripting experience with Python or JavaScript
  
  

• Knowledge of Git and Jira
  
  

• Experience with Linux and cloud environments (preferably AWS)
  
  

• Familiarity with OWASP principles and basic security testing
  
  

• Bonus: Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, JMeter, Locust, or AI/ML testing

Bonus points for experience with:

• Experience with performance testing tools (eg, JMeter, Locust).
  

• Exposure to containerized environments (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
  

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test integration.

• Prior experience testing AI/ML-based applications or analytics platforms.
