QA Automation (middle) Kyivstar TV in 1+1 media

Kyivstar TV is a joint project of 1+1 Media and Kyivstar, launched on December 11, 2019. It is a film and television platform that provides users access to hundreds of thousands of hours of Ukrainian and world content and live programs. It also regularly offers exclusive projects for viewing. The platform has over 410 TV channels and a VOD library of 20,000 movies, series, cartoons, and shows. Its advantage is connecting up to 5 personalized profiles on different devices: smartphone, tablet, laptop, Smart TV, or set-top box. The multi-profile feature lets you easily switch between adult and children's profiles. Kyivstar TV is available for all mobile operators in Ukraine and all Internet providers.

Kyivstar TV invites a Middle QA Automation to ensure the development of projects and support work processes in the company.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional experience as QA Engineer;
• 2+ years of professional experience in QA Automation of Web, mobile and REST API automated testing;
• Strong expertise and practical experience with UI & API testing frameworks and tools like Playwright, Appium;
• Strong understanding of HTTP and client-server architecture;
• Experience with Emulators on Android/IOS;
• Experience with continuous integration processes and tools, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar);
• Experience with application logs (Kibana, etc.);
• Knowledge of SQL and no-SQL DBs (mongo, pg, redis etc.);
• Ability to distribute tests across different layers of the system according to Testing Pyramid or Testing trophy approach;
• Deep understanding of core testing processes, experience in test planning and estimating.
  

Will be a plus:

• Understanding performance testing principles and automation (K6 or similar).

Responsibilities:

• You’ll be responsible for manual and automation testing (30/70);
• Code reviews;
• Writing auto-tests and increasing the coverage of web, mobile + API automated tests;
• Determining the priority of tests for automation;
• Analysis of automated test results, promptly identifying and reporting deviations or issues;
• Support CI/CD pipeline to enable efficient and reliable software delivery in GitHub Actions;
• Develop, maintain and expand automated testing infrastructure;
• Share knowledge and expertise with team members to promote a culture of continuous learning;
• Collaborate with the development and stakeholders to ensure consistent testing execution.
