Python Team Leader/ Architector Role Description:

Are you a skilled Python developer fluent in English, looking to take on your next challenge in a dynamic and innovative environment with a focus on the educational domain?

We are on the lookout for a Senior Python Engineer for a long-lasting engagement. You will start as a standalone Python Developer with a further growth to a Team Leader role in managing a group of talented developers and help us with designing a core architecture of the project. From the very beginning you will be a part of the team consisting of Senior Python Developer, Senior .NET Developer and DevOps Engineer in creating a cutting-edge web social network for American Alumni.

Terms of employment:

Work schedule: flexible and remote work schedule.

Contract terms: B2B Contractor agreement/ long-term engagement.

Terms: Full-time employment / Flexible hours/ Poland-based location (is a must).

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience successfully leading teams.
• Solid experience as Python developer (5+ years of experience).
• Good practical knowledge with steps in creating software architecture design of the product.
• Strong knowledge of OOP.
• Experience with Python frameworks (like Django, Flask).
• Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, Python entity frameworks (like SQLAlchemy).
• Experience in building REST APIs.
• Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and the frontend framework is a plus (like Angular, Vue.js).
• Understanding the DevOps culture and experience with containers (CI/CD pipelines, AWS, Azure).
• Be honest, trustworthy and flexible to everyday project changes.
• Fluency in English / Russian (the team is multilingual).
