About the Project
We are working on an innovative product for an American company, developing a system that analyzes U.S. marketplaces. Our system incorporates a machine learning model based on collected data, which assists brands in formulating market entry strategies by analyzing competitors’ sales performance.

Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with expertise in web scraping to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in gathering and processing data from various online marketplaces to feed into our analytical system.

Key Responsibilities:
— Develop and maintain efficient, scalable web scraping scripts using Python
— Implement data extraction techniques to collect relevant information from e-commerce platforms
— Ensure the quality and integrity of scraped data
— Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to refine data collection processes
— Troubleshoot and optimize scraping algorithms for performance and accuracy
— Stay updated with changes in target websites and adjust scraping methods accordingly

Requirements:
— Strong proficiency in Python programming
— Extensive experience with Scrapy
— Familiarity with handling anti-scraping measures and IP rotation techniques
— Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for parsing web content
— B2+ level of English
— Good understanding of web technologies and e-commerce platforms
— Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
— Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure)
— Knowledge of data analysis libraries like Pandas
— Understanding of machine learning concepts
— Experience with version control systems (Git)
