You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs that power our AI-driven solutions. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and high performance of our backend infrastructure. What you'll do: Develop and maintain backend services: Design and build scalable, reliable, and efficient backend systems using Python. API Development : Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs to support various AI functionalities and integrations. Database Management: Implement and optimize databases, primarily DynamoDB, ensuring data integrity, scalability, and performance. Cloud Infrastructure: Leverage AWS services, particularly serverless technologies (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB) to deploy and manage backend services.Collaboration: Work with product managers and other teams to define backend requirements and integrate with frontend services.Security and Performance: Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of backend services, implementing best practices for coding and deployment. Continuous Improvement: Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting to maintain high-quality software. What you'll bring: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. Minimum 3 years of backend development experience with strong proficiency in Python. Experience with AWS services, particularly for serverless applications (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB). Strong experience with databases: Familiarity with DynamoDB or other NoSQL databases. Experience with backend frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI. Strong problem-solving skills: Ability to debug complex issues and optimize backend performance. Experience with version control systems, especially Git. Attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality, maintainable code. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams. Passion for startups and a desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Nice to Have: Experience with asynchronous programming (e.g., Celery, asyncio). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
