Python developer in Red Cross Ukraine

The National Committee of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine (RCHU) announces a competition for the position of Python Developer.

Ukrainian Red Cross Society is the largest humanitarian organization in Ukraine, which is one of the first to respond to emergency situations and provides assistance to those who need it the most.

Purpose of the position: We invite an experienced Odoo developer to implement the Digital Development Strategy. We are looking for a specialist with experience working with custom projects, Odoo updates and integrations with third-party tools.

Requirements for the candidate:

• 2+ years of experience with Odoo Community/Enterprise (development, updates, integrations);
• 2+ years of programming experience in Python (Python 3.5+);
• experience with Linux, PostgreSQL, RESTful and gRPC API;
• Git, Bitbucket, understanding of CI/CD;
• knowledge of HTML, XML, CSS, OWL, JavaScript;
• English language - B2 level;
• open-source development experience, familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes.

Main duties:

• development of applications (modules) for Odoo Community/Enterprise;
• Odoo customization, development of new functionalities, integration with third parties services;
• code review, module and integration testing;
• detection, analysis and elimination of problems in programs;
• providing recommendations for improving applications and supporting existing solutions.

General duties:

• to work on the goals of the Red Cross Movement;
• to perform other tasks as instructed by the leader.
