The hromadske editorial team is looking for an editor to join its team who will work with journalists and most of the texts on the hromadske website. What you will do in this position: coordinate a team of journalists and develop them topics for materials on the site; edit interviews, reports, explainers, special reports and columns; monitor the balance of opinions in texts, completeness of information and timeliness of publication; form a pool of freelancers and columnists, coordinate their work; work on SEO-optimization of texts; develop long-term thematic projects for the site; write your own materials (if possible). You are suitable for us if you are oriented in the social and political life of Ukraine; you have editorial experience and you are not afraid of complex texts; easily find a common language with different people; know how to plan work and always meet deadlines; ready for an irregular working week; knowledge of the English language will be an advantage (at a level not lower than Upper-Intermediate). Personal qualities: high motivation, readiness for dynamic work; initiative and responsibility, result-oriented; ability to work in a team; high level of self-organization; punctuality; stress resistance.
