The main goal of the Organization is: providing a wide range of social services and creating conditions for the sustainable functioning of the public health system at the level of best international practices.
OVERVIEW OF THE PROJECT
BO "Light of Hope" started implementation of the project "Innovative educational and social initiatives to support the vulnerable population of the Sumy region" implemented with the support of Swiss Solidarity. This project is aimed at promoting the creation of a safe, inclusive and fair environment for learning and development, ensuring access to education for women and children and combating gender-based violence at the level of 4 communities of the Sumy region: Konotopsk, Romensk and Sumy. The project implementation period is 01.11.2024-31.10.2025.
For the successful implementation of the project, the organization of the service provider psychologist to work in the outreach team in Romny.
Main functions:
Description of services
In particular, the duties of an outreach psychologist the team includes:
- Conducting information sessions: Conducting information sessions for women and girls on the problems of GBV and CSCE. The sessions are aimed at raising awareness, providing information about available support structures in cases of violence and distributing information booklets and leaflets.
- Needs assessment: Conducting a psychological assessment of persons in need of psycho-social assistance.
- li>Planning and carrying out individual consultations: Provision of individual consultations for individuals with the aim of supporting their mental state, promoting adaptation to stressful situations and traumatic events.
- Psychosocial support: Provision of psychosocial support for individuals through psychological support, counseling and development of coping strategies.
- Crisis support: Responding to crisis situations and providing emergency psychological help if necessary .
- Documentation and reporting: Preparation of reports and documentation on consultations and other types of psychological work.
- Cooperation with other specialists: Interaction with other team members to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting individuals.
- Professional development: Continuous professional development, study of modern methods and techniques of psychological work in the working conditions of the outreach team, participation in trainings and educational modules.

Professional requirements:
- Education: Higher psychological education.
- Experience: Experience in psychological counseling and supporting individuals who have experienced stressful situations or traumatic events.
- Understanding cultural differences and gender aspects in psychological work.
- High level of communication skills and the ability to effectively cooperate with other team members and patients.
- Understanding the legislation related to the rights of victims and confidentiality of information.
TermIT: November 2024 - October 2025.
Terms of payment:
Payment for completed works is carried out after the transfer of documentation to confirm the completed work for each task and the signing of acts of completed works.
