The organization "A person in trouble" has been operating in Ukraine since the beginning of August 2014, and since then, humanitarian programs have been rapidly expanding. Currently, "Lyudyna v bidi" is one of the main humanitarian organizations in Ukraine that provides neutral and independent humanitarian assistance to people affected by the conflict.

General Position Information
Under the overall direction of the Emergency Assistance Programs Manager, in close collaboration with As a technical adviser on protection issues, the employee is responsible for the implementation of protection measures in the region, including psychosocial support services.
Specific duties and responsibilities
Coordinates the collection and analysis of Joint Defense Needs Assessments.
Responsible for the management of defense personnel, including the supervision of defense professionals contracted on a program basis.
p>Ensures effective management of mobile PPS teams, including supervision of psychologists working under contract within the program.
Responsible for administrative and HR issues, including staff recruitment for the protection program, organizing vacations and evaluating the performance of any personnel reporting to him/her.
Identifies capacity development needs of regional protection personnel and, in coordination with technical as a safeguarding advisor, supports training and provides ongoing professional development and mentoring support for the safeguarding team.
Ensures that all safeguarding activities, including the PSP, protection monitoring and individual assistance meet domestic and international minimum standards.
Regularly visits project sites to gather feedback, monitor activities and track changes in needs to ensure high the quality of protection programs.
Coordinates work with the PIN program department to ensure coordination of project activities, resource sharing and information management.
Provides support to regional diversion co-ordinators in establishing safe diversion routes in communities where PIN operates, and supports service mapping and coordinates monthly map updates.
Oversees additional safeguarding activities , conducted by PIN in the region, including protection monitoring and individualhelp.
Immediately informs line manager of any potential protection or security issues in accordance with PIN Protection Policy and reporting mechanisms.
< /li>Ensures that all safeguarding staff, including volunteers, understand and adhere to the PIN's signed Codes of Conduct and policies (including the Safeguarding from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policy and safeguarding children).
In cooperation with the MEAL department, manages the collection and analysis of project data in the field of protection.
Documents lessons learned and shares knowledge and experience with the regional protection team, at the PIN country program level, the Protection Cluster and with other stakeholders.
Provides support to MEAL activities to ensure quality programming and accountability.
Represents the PIN in coordination forums, including the Regional Protection Sub-Cluster and the Working Group on PPSP, and provides regular reports through the Regional Coordinators.
Reports regularly on internal updates and collaborates with the PIN Security Technical Lead and Coordinators to ensure program quality, development, knowledge sharing, and scaling in the field protection.
Takes proactive steps to address equality issues, including age, gender and diversity (AGD), in programmatic and operational activities.
Ensures the highest level of accountability through proper communication and information sharing within and outside the organization.
Follows all PIN policies and procedures (finance, logistics, HR, security etc).
Follows the PIN Code of Conduct.
