Caritas International Charitable Fund of Ukraine is looking for a specialist for the position of Project Manager with an advocacy component.
Project aimed at improving the quality of social services through professional training and advocacy work. The main directions include the training of social workers, support of Home Care Center teams and the implementation of advocacy initiatives to improve the system of social services in Ukraine.
Main duties:
- Management and support of the entire project cycle: continuation of implementation and completion to ensure effective and efficient implementation, in accordance with the principles and quality standards of Caritas Ukraine programs and donor requirements.
- Coordination of project activities, including trainings, supervision, monitoring visits.
- Management and control of the implementation of measures implemented for the implementation of project activities.
- Assessment of project implementation in accordance with the plan, ensuring compliance with project deadlines and budget, solving problems and challenges that arise during implementation of the project.
- Maintenance of project documentation, preparation of reports on the implementation of the project, in accordance with the requirements of the Fund and the requirements of donors.
- Assessment of the effectiveness of the project, report to the program manager and other interested parties.
- Ensuring effective interaction with all stakeholders of the project, including partners, financial sponsors, government bodies, local community, etc.
- Conducting work trips to implementation locations of the project.
- Executing the instructions of the program manager regarding the development of projects in the field of health care (home care, palliative care, medical activities, geriatric care, rehabilitation).
- Development of a long-term strategy of cooperation with local authorities, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and other civil society organizations (CSOs).
- Organization and holding of advocacy events, such as round tables, meetings with representatives local authorities.
- Participation in the development of recommendations, collection and generalization of proposals for reforming the social sector.
- Conducting annual advocacy campaigns at the regional level.
- Organization of training for employees social sphere, activists and volunteers regarding interaction with local self-government bodies, mobilization of resources.
- Preparation of educational materials for trainings.
- Definition needs of colleagues and providing support during tasks.
- Ability to work in a team, delegate tasks, set tasks for team members, as well as promote the development of their potential.
- Establishing contacts with local and international partners.
- Participation in the creation of information materials such as booklets, presentations.
- Collection of data to verify project indicators.
- Help in the development and maintenance of tools, instructions, templates and information for donors.
- Analysis of the effectiveness of implemented measures.
Requirements:
- Higher education (in the field of social sciences or humanities).
< li>Experience in project management in non-profit organizations (from 2 years).- Knowledge of languages: Ukrainian – fluent, English – B2+
- High level of organizational skills, analytical skills.
- Confident use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Skills for working with databases and reporting.
- Successful work experience in the field of social programs.
- Knowledge of CU programs and the principles of Catholic social teaching (will be an advantage).
