We’re opening the position of a Project Manager / Scrum Master / Product Owner to the existing product that helps people with disabilities communicate with the people they want to communicate with. Our project is used by sign language interpreters from the US and other English speaking countries. This project is sponsored by the government. It is no longer a startup, this project has become one of the most necessary solutions for people who are not able to hear.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a cross-functional team to achieve project requirements, deadlines, and schedules
• Collaborate proactively with stakeholders to reach a common understanding of the best solution needed, and moderate meetings
• Hold regular Scrum meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
• Collaborate with the Product Owner / Tech Lead / Architect on managing changing priorities, refining the product backlog, splitting the work, and aligning with the product goals and vision
• Assist in release management
• Develop good relationships with the development teams and stakeholders
• Escalate any issues that cannot be resolved within the team
• Provide project-level analysis and produce the required project analysis documentation
• Elicit and clearly document business and system requirements
• Create and maintain issue logs, meeting minutes, meeting schedules, project summaries, updates, and backlog
• Create and maintain project schedules by developing project plans and specifications, estimating time and resources, monitoring milestone completion, tracking all phases of the project lifecycle, providing timely reporting of issues that impact project progress, coordinating actions, and resolving conflicts
• Meet with the project team regularly to review project deliverables and deadlines
• Remove impediments to the team’s progress

Requirements:

• 4-5+ years of experience as Project Manager/Product Manager
• Understand the product and work with our BA to ensure tickets are well-written and prioritized in order
• Be a liaison between the Development Team and the Product Managers
• Not only drive the ceremonies but also drive the team to be better, improve, adapt, and deliver high-quality and on-time solutions
• Strong Jira skills; have no problem creating and managing reports, managing workflows, etc.
• Be well-versed in Agile and software development best practices
• Have experience working with global teams and a proven track record of getting them to work well together and deliver quality while respecting/managing expectations against timelines
• Good project management skills, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point, strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Requirements management within different stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders, team members, and customers
• Ability to guide and resolve team challenges, conduct product/service demonstrations, and manage expectations effectively
• Work closely with the development team, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that the product is developed in a collaborative and cross-functional manner
• Work with the development team to plan sprints and ensure that the sprint goals align with the product vision and strategy
• Be responsible for managing the release process, ensuring that the product is released on time, and meets the customer’s needs
• Fluency with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office tools (including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, including technical and writing
• English level — Upper-Intermediate or higher

Will be a plus:

• Background and experience in Business Analysis
