Nova Poshta is the leader of express delivery in Ukraine. Our team is constantly growing, and now we are looking for: "Business Process Improvement Manager (Postmates)". team;

What needs to be done:

• carry out a comprehensive analysis (FRD) of the entire delivery chain: morning/evening processes at the depot (release/reception), work on the route and actions of dispatchers escort;
• perform timing and search for losses (Muda) at the stage of loading/unloading cars at the depot: minimizing the time the courier stays in the warehouse before departure;
• analyze the ergonomics and efficiency of the software for escort dispatchers: how many clicks and time does the dispatcher spend to change the route, contact the client or record problem;
• conduct field trips with couriers to analyze the operation of the mobile application in real conditions, as well as physical obstacles (parking, access to entrances);
• model cross-functional business processes (Cross-functional flow) in BPMN notation, which show the interaction: Courier - Depot Manager - Escort Manager;
• form technical tasks (User Stories) for IT to finalize three types of interfaces: the courier's mobile application, the warehouse software for cargo release and the support logistician's workplace;
• test (UAT) the integration of processes: how the actions of the dispatcher in the office are displayed on the courier's phone in real time;
• develop instructions and standards of interaction between departments (SLA): how quickly the dispatcher should respond to the courier, how correctly submit reports in the evening.

We expect from you:

• higher education (preferably logistics, transport technologies, technical or economic);
• work experience of 1 year in the fields: transport logistics, address delivery, business analysis or operational delivery management;
• understanding of the specifics of processes of the "first and last mile" (First/Last Mile) and interaction between the courier, warehouse (depot) and dispatch support;
• practical experience in applying the LEAN methodology and conducting "Workday Photography" (FRD) in dynamic field conditions (on routes and in the depot);
• understanding of the principles of mobile applications and experience in writing technical tasks (User Stories) for IT with an emphasis on UX/UI of mobile interfaces;
• ability to model end-to-end business processes in BPMN notation (representing the interaction of various roles and systems);
• advanced MS Excel proficiency (work with large data sets, summary tables, analysis of routes and time intervals);
• readiness to work "in the field": physical support couriers on routes and analysis of processes directly at sorting centers (depots);
• analytical mindset, attention to details and the ability to find opportunities for optimization in routine operations;
• English language proficiency at B level1 (Intermediate)
