The RePower Ukraine Foundation Charitable Fund was created to provide assistance to communities, municipal institutions in connection with energy challenges in Ukraine, which arose as a result of the destruction of the energy system during a full-scale invasion . Our key objective is to provide power equipment and solar power plants with storage for hospitals, dispensaries, mobile and field hospitals, as well as promoting the foundations of the recovery of Ukraine, cities and municipalities, primarily in the de-occupied territories, on the principles of sustainable development, using renewable energy sources and the most energy-efficient technologies available.
Employment type: Full time. There is an opportunity to work in the office, as well as a hybrid format (to be discussed).
Key responsibilities:
- Administration of current projects of the fund, control over compliance with the deadlines for implementation of planned activities and reporting in within the framework of projects
- Communication regarding projects with donors and grantees both as part of the fund team and independently
- Organizing the work of the project team, advising the team on the requirements of grantees and ensuring their compliance
- Supporting the work of the technical manager during the implementation of projects
- Supporting the logistics of equipment
- Systematic interaction with recipients of assistance - heads of hospitals, dispensaries, representatives of local administrations, etc.
- Monitoring the progress of project implementation and reporting on implementation stages, periodic control of already implemented projects, interaction with contractors during project implementation
- Preparation of initial financial and project reports for projects
- Current monitoring of grant opportunities, coordination preparation and submission of grant applications
- Performance of other tasks of the Director of the Foundation
Eligibility requirements:
- Higher education in economics, law or any combination with relevant experience
- Successful project management experience of 2 years or more
- Experience in public organizations, or experience of cooperation with international/donor organizations will be a key advantage
- Experience in preparing and submitting successful grant applications is an advantage
- Skills in managing project finances, including development and monitoring of budgets and financial reporting mandatory
- Fluent command of the Ukrainian language and good command of the English language
- Excellent business correspondence skills and the ability to express opinions in a structured manner both orally and in writing, understanding and compliance with key fund policies
- High communication skills, attention to detail, readiness effectivelywork under tight deadlines, the ability to work independently and in a team, self-discipline
- Fluent use of MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), Google Docs and others.
