Project manager in Finn Church Aid

Finn Church Aid Ukraine is looking for a Manager from management of educational projects, which will play an important role in supporting and expanding the educational program of FCA in Ukraine, with the aim of providing quality education for children affected by the crisis situation in Ukraine. Manager of management of educational projects will work in the Kyiv office of FCA and will periodically have business trips to other cities of Ukraine in which projects are implemented with the participation of Finn Church Aid Ukraine.

Main tasks:

• Coordination and project management, reporting and compliance with budget requirements of educational projects financed by FCA Ukraine and implemented by local partners.
• Preparation of project documentation according to standards organization.
• Implementation of current mini-projects with the funds of philanthropists from Finland.
• Preparation of grant proposals in cooperation with the grant manager
• Identification of national partners, government organizations and other representatives of civil society to develop a partnership with FCA regarding future educational projects in accordance with the organization's strategy.
• Building relationships with local and international partners, representing FCA Ukraine at various events (including in all clusters and sub-clusters on education and child protection).
• Assistance in the analysis of: needs assessments, research, project results, etc., relevant to the field of FCA programs.
• Involvement of Finnish expertise through FCA head office for project preparation and implementation.
• Contribute to FCA's strategic planning related to its priorities in the field of program development in Ukraine.

Requirements forcandidates:

• education and/or work experience in managing projects financed by international non-governmental organizations;
• work experience in the Ukrainian system of education;
• experience of working with Ukrainian educational institutions, in particular the Ministry of Education, on the nationalnational and/or regional level;
• experience of working with representative organizations of Ukrainian, civil society and/or international organizations working in the field of education;
• experience of participating in planning and writing proposals regarding possible financing;
• fluency in spoken and written English and Ukrainian languages.
