Overview:
The organization has been operating the Protection Program for human rights defenders, journalists, and their families in wartime conditions. We provide: urgent assistance to cover immediate and basic security-related needs; professional support with internship, micro-granting and training components; we promote the restoration of psychological and physical personal resources through the psychosocial rehabilitation program; and we also provide legal, psychological and other advisory assistance.
Main responsibilities:
project management (ensuring the implementation of the project schedule and budget, achieving results; engaging experts, organizing case management, preparing reports, etc.);• providing the work of individual urgent support and long-term (professional, micro-granting, psychosocial rehabilitation);
• organization of internship: organization of selection, communication with partner organizations regarding internships on their basis, search for mentors to accompany interns, organization of development of individual internship plans, control over implementation of internship plans and reporting, preparation of relevant documentation; Support of micro-projects : organization of the micro-project competition, organization of training on writing projects, search for mentors, control over the implementation of the micro-project;
• organization of rehabilitation activities: communication with experts, organization of selection for participation, participation in program development and implementation of rehabilitation activities;
• participation in the preparation of new project applications related to the Protection Program;
• communityication and support of relations with national and international partners to ensure the implementation of projects;
• procurement management and conclusion of contracts for the purpose of obtaining goods and services. Organization of payment for the provided goods and services according to the organization's procedures;
• project monitoring and evaluation organization;
• preparation information about existing opportunities within the components of the Protection Program and informing potential participants about it;
• preparation of periodic reports based on the results of their work.
Qualification requirements:
General:
Education and experience in the field of social work, project management, law, psychology or communications is desirable.
Experience in community activities.
Fluency in the Ukrainian language, knowledge of English will be an advantage.
Organization, systems vision, activity, attention to details, multitasking, stress resistance, ability to work under tight deadlines, ability to prioritize, work independently and in a team.
Using a human rights-based approach in work.
Expected start date: January-February 2025.

The team of the organization is engaged in education in the field of human rights, supporting human rights defenders at risk and documenting war crimes. In addition, the organization operates an educational resource center near Chernihiv in the village of Kolychivka and a Chernihiv hub. In the process of reconstruction, the "Sunrise" recreation center was destroyed, which will become a rehabilitation center for psychological support.
